A painting derived from a chair which now lives in Musee Picasso in Paris. This is not just any chair - this is the one that Pablo Picasso used for his painting palette! Instead of the cold, white plexiglass tomb it is in at the museum, I decided to embellish its surroundings as if it lived back in the master's studio.
Can't you just imagine him sitting there barely out of frame, and reaching for one of those brushes! Wouldn't you absolutely love to know which painting it was that last sat on his easel when the paint on his "chair palette" dried for the last time?!!
An unframed, original painting done using high quality, artist grade watercolor paints, on 140 lb. premium Arches watercolor 100% cotton fiber paper.
Dimensions: 12"w x 16"h. Overall size will be larger based on framing chosen.
