This painting was inspired by the crystal chandeliers in the Hall of Mirrors at Chateau de Versailles while visiting France. When I looked up and saw them sparkle in the light streaming in from the windows, and how the colors of the room were reflected in the facets of the glass – I was smitten!

An original painting done using high quality, artist grade watercolor paints, on 140 lb. premium Arches watercolor 100% cotton fiber paper.
